Chicago VPS is a webhosting service based in USA and offers vps and dedicated servers. both windows and linux. I have two windows vps with them and this admin reviews is only based on windows vps. if you have a different opinion or experience with other server types, please add your review below.
windows vps support is fairly ok. given the fact its basically a windows computer located in a remote location and 90% similarity to a windows pc, you are pretty much able to do things on your own if the server is up and running.
this one is also fairly ok. I used these servers to run some programs and by the nature of my programs a restart or two is needed once a week. again this is only for windows servers. I am pretty sure linux servers dont require this type of restarting.
Hardware and Features:
they dont have mcuh options in vps or servers, RAM is limited to maximum 4GB on vps and 8GB on dedicated servers. and dedicated servers are out of stock for the past two months.
this is where they win. price is super cheap for both linux and windows. linux servers are self managed with limited support. but the price is very cheap compared to other unmanaged web hosting service providers.
please add your review of Chicago VPS below. thanks.
